Effective September 19, 2026 · Version 2026-09-19
The short version
- Your company's data is yours. We use it to run RIZE TMS for you and for nothing else.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
- A handful of services help us run RIZE (hosting, email, payments, backups, a support chat). They're all named below.
- You can export everything at any time, and ask us to delete it.
Who we are
RIZE TMS ("RIZE", "we", "us") is trucking management software at rizetms.com and app.rizetms.com. It is run by Liamquiel Gonzalez Sarmiento, a sole proprietor based in Kentucky, USA. Questions about this policy or your data: support@rizetms.com.
What we collect
When you sign up
Your company name, how many trucks you run, your name, your email address and a password. We store the password only as a secure hash, never as the password itself.
What you put into RIZE
Everything you or your team enter to run your business, for example:
- Loads, rates, brokers and customers, shippers and receivers.
- Drivers: names, contact details, pay rates, and license details such as CDL number, CDL and medical card expiry dates.
- Trucks and trailers, maintenance, expenses, fuel purchases and IFTA miles.
- Invoices, payments and driver paychecks.
- Documents and photos you or your drivers upload, such as rate confirmations, bills of lading and signed PODs.
We call all of this "your company data". You decide what goes in, and you're responsible for having the right to put it there, for example your drivers' details.
What we record automatically
- Sign-in sessions and when each person was last active, so the app can keep you signed in and show your team's activity.
- IP addresses and basic request details, used to keep the service secure and to stop abuse (for example, limiting repeated sign-in or signup attempts).
- A record of the emails RIZE sends and whether they were accepted, so problems can be fixed.
- A count of pages viewed on rizetms.com, and how the visitor arrived (a search engine, a social site, an ad campaign tag, or direct). It's a daily tally only: no cookies, no advertising trackers, and nothing that identifies a person or their device.
- If you sign up, the same "how you found us" note is kept with your company, so we know which way of reaching carriers works.
Payments
Subscriptions are paid through PayPal. Your card or bank details go to PayPal, never to us. We receive your subscription status (for example, active or cancelled) and a PayPal subscription ID.
How we use it
- To provide RIZE TMS: storing your records, building your invoices, reports and paychecks, and showing each person what they're allowed to see.
- To send the emails the service needs: confirming your email address, resetting your password, and the invoices you choose to email to your brokers.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To answer you when you contact support.
- To manage your trial and subscription.
We don't sell your data, rent it, or use it to advertise to you or anyone else. We don't look through your company data except when needed to provide support you ask for, keep the service running, or meet a legal obligation.
Who helps us run RIZE
We use a small number of service providers. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
| Service | What it does for RIZE | What it handles |
|---|---|---|
| Railway | Hosts the app, the website and the database | All company data, stored on its servers |
| Resend | Sends RIZE's emails | Account emails (confirmations, password resets) and invoices you send to brokers, with their attachments |
| PayPal | Takes subscription payments | Your payment details and billing information |
| Google Drive | Stores our nightly backups | An encrypted copy of the database and uploaded documents |
| GoHighLevel / LeadConnector | The support chat bubble inside the app | Messages and contact details you choose to send through the chat |
If you email an invoice to a broker from RIZE, the invoice and any paperwork you attach go to the address you enter. That's you sharing it, at your request.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of RIZE, our customers or others. If RIZE is ever sold or merged, your data would move with the service, and this policy would continue to apply to it.
Cookies and browser storage
- One sign-in cookie keeps you logged in to the app. It's needed for the app to work.
- Browser storage remembers your own preferences on that device, such as light or dark mode, language, and which menus you've folded.
- The support chat (from GoHighLevel / LeadConnector) loads inside the app and may set its own cookies to keep a conversation going. A company owner can hide it for the whole company from Settings.
The website rizetms.com doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. It keeps one small note in your own browser so a page view is counted once a day rather than on every refresh, and that note never leaves your browser.
How we protect it
- All connections to RIZE are encrypted (HTTPS).
- Every company's data is kept separate, and each person only sees what their role allows.
- Passwords are stored as secure hashes.
- Nightly backups are encrypted (AES-256) before they leave the server.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data, and we'll tell you without undue delay if a breach affects it.
How long we keep it
- While your account exists, your company data stays in RIZE.
- If you don't subscribe after the trial, or you cancel, your account becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted for not paying, so you can come back or export at any time.
- Backups: daily snapshots are kept for 14 days and encrypted off-site backups for 30 days, after which they're replaced by newer ones.
- If you ask us to delete your company, we delete it from the live service within 30 days, and it drops out of our backups as they expire.
Your choices and rights
- See and export: everything is visible in the app, and Export my company data in Settings downloads it.
- Correct: you can edit your records at any time.
- Delete: email support@rizetms.com from the account owner's address and we'll delete your company and its data.
- Team members: a company owner controls who has access. If you're a driver or dispatcher and want your details changed or removed, ask your company first, or contact us.
Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under your state's privacy laws. Email us and we'll help.
Children
RIZE TMS is a business tool for adults. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date and version at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell account owners by email or in the app before it takes effect.
