TruckingOffice vs RIZE TMS
Both are built for small carriers, both have a 30-day trial with no card, and both are month to month. The real differences are how you're charged as you add trucks, whether you want an ELD from the same company, and how invoicing works.

The short answer
- One or two trucks, and you want the cheapest plan: TruckingOffice's Basic plan is $25 a month, less than RIZE's $39.
- You want your ELD and your TMS from one company: TruckingOffice sells its own ELD that syncs with its TMS. RIZE has no ELD.
- Three trucks or more: RIZE is $39 for the whole fleet. TruckingOffice is $55 to $130 a month depending on plan and fleet size.
- You live and die by getting invoices out: RIZE merges the rate con and signed POD into the invoice PDF and emails it to the broker from the load.

Where TruckingOffice is the better fit
TruckingOffice has been around since at least 2010, and it shows in the breadth: its own ELD with a dispatcher dashboard of driver locations and hours of service, IFTA and IRP support, and LTL on the Pro plan. If you want one company for your logs and your loads, or you run LTL, it's a strong choice. And for a single truck on the Basic plan, it costs less.
Where RIZE is the better fit
- Growing past two trucks. $39 covers the company however many trucks, drivers and logins you add.
- Invoices built to be paid the first time. The broker's load number leads every line, and the rate con and signed POD go inside the same PDF, emailed straight from the load with replies coming back to you. How it works.
- Settlements that can't drift. A paycheck's base pay is the sum of its loads. It updates when a load is re-priced, and says so if a load moves to another driver. How it works.
- Spanish-speaking drivers or office staff. The whole app is in English and Spanish, and each person picks their own.
- Drivers who only need to send paperwork. A simple phone page for BOL and POD photos and fuel, with no ELD to buy.
Switching from TruckingOffice
Start with what's open. Add the loads you're running now and the brokers, drivers and trucks they need; the setup checklist walks you through the first of each. Keep TruckingOffice for history until you're settled, then export what you need from it. There's nothing to cancel on our side if RIZE isn't for you: the trial simply ends.
