Trucking software that doesn't charge per truck

Most trucking software charges by fleet size, so every truck you add costs you twice: once for the truck and again for the software. RIZE TMS is $39 a month for the whole company, with unlimited trucks, drivers and logins. Here is what that means at 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20 trucks, next to what the others charge.

Prices checked on each company's own pricing page on 19 October 2026.

Per month, from each company's own pricing page on 19 October 2026: truckingoffice.com/pricing (Basic to Pro, before add-ons), trucklogics.com/tms-pricing (billed monthly; about 10% less billed yearly; 25+ trucks is by quote), thefreetms.com/pricing (AscendTMS Basic; $119 and $149 plans too; never charges for trucks, drivers or loads), truckbase.com/pricing (publishes only a minimum, billed annually). Check their sites for today's prices.

Two things to be straight about. At one truck, TruckingOffice's Basic plan is cheaper than RIZE. And RIZE isn't the only one that skips per-truck pricing: AscendTMS charges per person in the office instead, so it's $69 for one dispatcher and $207 for three. TruckingOffice also stops climbing at eight trucks.

The gap is the point. A fleet that grows from five trucks to fifteen pays RIZE the same $39 the whole way, without changing plans or asking anyone.

What $39 a month covers

  • Unlimited trucks, drivers and logins. Dispatchers, office staff and drivers each get their own sign-in, and nobody sees more than their job needs.
  • Loads from the rate con. Upload it, or take a photo, and the broker, stops, dates and rate are filled in for you. How it works.
  • Invoices emailed to the broker with the rate con and the signed BOL (POD) inside the same PDF, straight from the load. How it works.
  • Who owes you, and how late. Payments recorded against loads, partial payments and factoring included, with an aging report.
  • Driver settlements built from each driver's loads, so a paycheck can't drift from the work. How it works.
  • A driver phone view for BOL and POD photos, fuel and marking loads delivered. No app store, no ELD to buy.
  • Profit per truck, fuel, maintenance, and truck and driver expiry reminders.
  • English and Spanish, picked by each person.

What RIZE doesn't do

A flat price only helps if the software does what your fleet needs. Check these before you move a larger fleet over:

  • No ELD connection. RIZE doesn't read locations or hours from Motive, Samsara or anyone else.
  • No IFTA tax calculation. It totals miles and gallons by state for you to file; it doesn't work out the tax.
  • No QuickBooks sync. Everything exports to spreadsheets, but nothing syncs.
  • One pickup and one delivery per load. No multi-stop or LTL loads.
  • 2 GB of paperwork storage per company. Plenty for a few trucks; a large fleet uploading every rate con and POD will want to check it.

If you need those, TruckLogics, Truckbase or AscendTMS may be the better fit, and our roundup of trucking software for small fleets says which.

Questions

Is there trucking software that doesn't charge per truck?

Yes. RIZE TMS is $39 a month for the whole company, however many trucks, drivers and logins. AscendTMS doesn't charge per truck either, but charges $69 a month or more for each person in the office.

Will the price go up as I add trucks?

No. There is one plan, and it doesn't depend on the number of trucks, drivers, loads or logins. You can cancel any month from Settings.

What happens if I stop paying?

Your account turns read-only: you can still see and export everything, paperwork included, but nothing new can be added or changed. Nothing is deleted.
